No. ShannonVoice works alongside any Claude Code installation. You only need a ShannonVoice API key for the audio layer.

Which platforms does ShannonVoice support?

macOS only at launch. Linux support is on the roadmap; Windows is further out. The installer refuses to run on unsupported systems.

A small curated set of natural-sounding voices. Pick one with the shannonvoice CLI; the default works well out of the box.

Is my source code sent to ShannonVoice servers?

No. Only the short summary text (a few words per action) is sent to the TTS API. Your source code never leaves your machine.

What happens when I run out of credits?

Claude Code keeps working — just without audio until you top up. You can also set a low-balance email reminder on the dashboard so you're never surprised.

Should I pick a one-time pack or a monthly subscription?

If you're not sure how often you'll use it, grab a one-time pack first. If you settle into a daily groove, the monthly subscription auto-tops-up so you never run dry. Unused credits never expire and you can switch any time.

Yes, any time — straight from your dashboard. We open Stripe's secure customer portal where you can cancel, change tier, or update your payment method. Credits you have already earned stay yours.
